classics of clashing colors
Are you the type who doesn't know a double windsor from a wingtip? a cravat from a cardigan? Dressing up well takes a lengthy and diverse education, but there are some basics that mom should have told you when you were still in footy pajamas. One of the most important factors in dressing oneself is picking color combinations.So just in case your mom is like ours and dresses exclusively in LL Bean, here are the basics of clashing colors:
Black and Navy Blue is a never
Black and Brown is an almost never
Red and Orange is just gross
Red and Pink is only ok on valentines day
Easy rules to follow unless you're colorblind, in which case, just wear a bathrobe everywhere. It'll become you're "thing."
